Projects Planned for 2008 - 2010
Lift Renewal Programme
The contract for the renewal of 10 passenger lifts has been let to Temple lifts Ltd. The first phase of the contract began on the 19th of January 2009. Lifts in 5 Tower blocks will be renewed concurrently. The entire project is expected to be completed by the Autumn of 2009.
Pavement and Roadway Repairs
Divine Building Ltd has started work to repair and replace paved walkways and estate roads. Works have been completed at Styles Gardens, Howard Drive and Featley Road. Remedial work to make pavements safe and hazard free is ongoing.
Roof Top Safety Barriers
Price Engineering Ltd have installed galvanised steel safety barrires on the roof tops of Ashby House, Edgehill House, Hopton House and Newark House. Safety barriers will be installed on the roof tops of Elmore House, Harper House, Leicester House, Nevil House and Secker House.
Flat Roof Renewal
Cobsen & Davies Limited have been awarded the contract to renew 8 flat roofs on 3 blocks at Rupert Gardens and on 5 blocks at Styles Gardens.
